Do we use cookies?

This site uses no marketing or tracking cookies. The only value we keep in your browser is a local record of whether you chose the light or dark theme; it is never sent to the server and carries no identity.

How do we count visits?

We use OpenPanel (openpanel.dev) to see which pages get read. It writes no cookie and no identifier to your browser; a returning visit is counted through a hash of your IP address and browser details that is renewed every day. Because that hash becomes a different value the next day, it cannot follow you across days.

What is kept is limited to the page address, the site that referred you, country, language, browser and device type. These statistics are processed on the servers of the OpenPanel service we use.

When you complete the quote brief, we also record which services it was filled in for and in which language. Your name, email address, phone number and the text you wrote are not part of that record; they appear only in the email that reaches us.

What do the audit tools do?

When you enter a domain, our server fetches that domain's homepage, /robots.txt and /llms.txt. Only public files are read; nothing is written to the target site and no session is opened. The requests identify themselves as GalataMediaAudit.

To limit abuse, a per-IP count of requests in the last minute is held temporarily in memory. That record is not persisted and is used for nothing else.
